Tissue Paper constructions influenced by Brockmann & the geometric paintings of Kasimir Malevich

Photographed on white card with the tissue papers density / colours enhanced digitally via ipad. Techinques used involved graph paper, geometric compass, cutting craft knife, scissors, ruler, copydex, tissue paper and charcoal pencil. Tissue paper was chosen for its transparent quality and because it also has a texture when photographed that implies a sense of colouration which represents to me aspects of 1930's colouring. I wanted to capture a feel of early graphical design and the later periods in which the Swiss school was flourishing.
