Experimenting with drawing 3D shapes.

3D drawing afternoon. Constructing 3 dimensional shapes using a grid technique and as perpetration for more sophisticated designs using materials. The drawings help examine the relationships of planes and they also look at ideas of negative space and where one might define zones of energy in the later constructions. In the above drawings I explored the interplay between solid shapes rather than trying to construct anything that I might later make. I can see how this methodology can be very useful in drafting ideas for further investigation with materials.
